The games and sports
group organized a basketball tournament on June 7 and 8, 2014 in the Zhemgang
Lower Secondary School basketball court. A total of 9 teams took part in the
tournament. The winners and runners-up were awarded trophies, cash prizes and certificates. Dasho Dzongdag, the MSTF Chairperson graced the finals.
The organizers used
floodlights and made late night matches possible, which was the first of its
kind being attempted in Zhemgang.
